The Dream Choice | Siouxzen Kang Photography

enjoyable. We needed to push our wedding a year but in 2021, she remembered everything we said that first day. She’s fun, professional, great at managing people without making them feel handled, and her eye obviously adapts to each couple. Our photos were beautiful and romantic, not cheesy, and the only problem we faced was having too many great pictures to choose from for albums and prints. If you’re wondering if her rates are worth it, they are. We got her bronze plan and she got every single shot we wanted.

m” to work with. From first writing to her (she’s easy to communicate with), to budgeting (she helped us figure out what was possible in our diy budget), to meeting her (so kind and calm), we always felt comfortable and taken care of with Siouxzen. Before the wedding, she got to know our goals for our photos and asked us about our families. On the day of, she was very familiar with who was who (parents, best friends, etc) and was able to calmly and efficiently organize all configurations for group photos. We come from a queer family, and I wasn’t comfortable with gendered terms like “bride and groom” and she was so thoughtful and uplifting around it all. She made our families feel so relaxed which was really important to us. She has a really warm and gentle energy and that was so appreciated on the wedding day! The photos- Where do I even begin? We are SO SO happy with our wedding photos. Siouxzen captured so many amazing moments, candid conversations, beautiful light, and the overall magical mood so well. We’ve just started printing photos for our family members and it brings us so much joy to look at them all. Her eye is really special and the way she uses light makes every picture so gorgeous, natural, and happy. (Even after the sun set her photos were great.) My one regret is not booking Siouxzen for longer (we only had her for the wedding, not the “getting ready” and such) as the photos have been such a blessing to have and share. As soon as we got our photos (about a month after the event, in a super organized and accessible way) we both said, like “wow, I can’t wait to share these with our grandkids some day!” They’re the type of photos that feel so special and priceless. Do yourself a favor and book The Dream Choice!! Thank you for everything, Siouxzen!

d her husband were so kind, fun, down to earth, and very talented. On the day of, having people like that around you the entire day (because they will be around you the whollllle time) was such a gift. Our venue was all outdoors, so finding someone to capture the greenery was very important to me and from the very initial FaceTime meeting we had, Siouxzen reassured me that was something she was down for. And she killed it! The pictures came back full of color, love and really captured the essence of our day. Her turn around was incredible - we got our pictures back so quickly. And we got a ton back! She listened to what I want, and captured all the moments perfectly. We were really into getting sunset pictures at our venue and she made sure we took the time to get a ton of different types of sunset pictures. She was good at getting us to try things, some things that worked much better than I would have imagined! We are definitly not “in front of the camera” people, so this was huge to get us out of our comfort zone for some really fun pictures. So, if you want someone who is priced well for the incredible quality, fun, talented, dedicated, trustworthy, quick, and kind - I cannot recommend The Dream Choice more!!

Our original photographer ended up having a conflict, and had to step down, fortunately she recommended Siouxzen to us who stepped in to save the day. Even a month before the big day she was starting to pay special attention to detail. She wanted to know all of the big players in the event (officiant, wedding party, family members, etc.) so that she could know who to be sure to track down and capture for us. The planning process was very organized and easy. Then came the day of. Seriously the amazing energy, care, and attention to detail was perfect. She handles her work with a beautiful gentle care and excitement that everyone at the wedding noticed and commented on. She took all the photos we wanted, and gifted us with ones we never would have thought of ourselves. She was also able to read when my husband had a little photo fatigue and gave breaks from group photos. She is a true creative professional. The turn around following the event was quick and she was very responsive with questions and requests. She even peppered us with some sneak peek photos as she went along. Anyone looking for a photographer who will blend in and become part of your event and connect with your guests should strongly consider Siouxzen! We are so grateful!

rything that I wanted and envisioned happened. I am super picking about things and when I walked through and saw everything put together just they way I hoped, I was so grateful. We had these beautiful rings as part as our ceremony and I really wanted them to be part of our reception too. During our walk through, it wasn't looking like that was a possibility. Sure enough, after our first dance, I notice the beautiful rings hanging over our sweetheart table PERFECTY. It was exactly what I had wanted. Siouxzen also brought her fiancé with her on the day of and they are just the most perfect duo! If you're looking to have someone be part of your day- have it be Siouxzen!

t of our day, as well as some truly beautiful candid moments, and every photo looks like it belongs in a magazine. Every person who has seen our pictures has commented on how stunning they are, and I can't say enough how amazed and impressed we are with how they turned out. Siouxzen is incredibly talented and was so helpful during the wedding planning process, answering our questions in a timely manner and providing helpful suggestions. She is professional and friendly, and her rates are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of her work. Best money we spent on the wedding, by far!

best. She has a way with couples, families, and kids. Some wedding photographers feel cookie cutter and stiff, photos with Siouxzen feel authentic and relaxed.

thing photos. Since then she takes annually amazing pictures of our child and our family life style. Her photos can tell stories, they are soft and dreamy. I truly feel beautiful as a woman inside out when captured by Siouxzen. She's an excellent person to work with, has incredible photographer eye and art skills as well as production background. She works fast in postproduction too and we always get our pictures very soon after the shoot. Not to mention her sweet and adorable personality. I highly recommend Siouxzen Kang as your life event photographer. I can't wait for our holiday pictures this year! :)

. You can feel the love and emotions of the story being told in each of her photographs.

. But when we started discussing shots that we didn't want to miss out on we immediately knew that we must hire someone to capture those special moments, so we chose Siouxzen! And we are so grateful that we did! Her eye for detail, and calm demeanor made the entire process fun and easy. She captured all those precious moments and so much more! Reliving our special day through her eyes is something that we will cherish forever. We highly recommended Siouxzen Kang to be your wedding photographer!

ng sure she captures your day and is very capable of doing so. I have worked with Siouxzen as a fashion photographer in the past and have known her for over 10 years. She has always known how to capture a feeling in her photos.

e best of the best in the wedding industry to capture the essence & beauty & love of our union. The experience of working with her has been smooth and gracious, and she has come prepared and experienced at every step of the process. She is highly knowledgeable in her field and has a keen and perceptive eye for a creative angle in any situation. As a bride-to-be I am learning how important it is work with true wedding professionals who can put my nervous heart and mind at ease, and I am happy to say that for this reason and many more, I highly recommend Siouxzen's services for showing up with all aces!! Thank you for our gorgeous photos! Our joy would not be the same without your special touch ;)

he things she does, and her eye of beauty and composition in her shots is spot on. I've also seen some of the shots she's done of several of my friend's weddings, and I am sad to say, that I really WISH I had been able to hire her for my wedding. We hired someone local to us instead, and we don't really have a single decent photo of the two of us from our wedding day. Would have been well worth the money to have flown her in to shoot it, but hey, hindsight is 20/20, right?

en. Her style is completely unique dancing with colour and tones to gives the best possible picture she can. Her approach allows you to feel comfortable in your own skin yet with a freedom to glow which she captures perfectly! Her style in fashion, music and wedding photography has given her a solid basis for a global lense and expansive vision - Siouxzen is a true gem and her photography is transformative. She brings positive vibrations to each and every shoot - and is a complete dream to work with!

ay two at the reception. Her style is modern and moody, and was exactly what I was look for to capture this special event.

worth it by capturing every special moment-- sometimes making things look even better than they were! I will definitely be working with her again in the future and can't recommend her highly enough.

le we were shooting. She is playful and fun, but her fashion photography background made her photos a little on the edgy and artsy side. She is phenomenal, and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend for ANY AND EVERY occassion!!!!!! Thank you SO MUCH, Siouxzen!!!!! <3 <3

s, but their essence as well. When you look at her photos, you're not just seeing them, you're feeling them. Her style is rich and unique. Her creativity is off the charts, and I have never met anyone with such a perfect balance of artistry and professionalism. Usually its one or the other, but this woman has it all and does it all!!! I truly cannot recommend her enough, and I can't wait until I have another opportunity to shoot with her again.
